Best Restaurants in Phu Quoc
When we first arrived on Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s dreamy island in the Gulf of Thailand, we never imagined how much it would capture our hearts. What began as a one-week trip quickly turned into six months of sunny beaches, friendly locals, and unforgettable memories. But above all, the food stood out the most.
Phu Quoc is a paradise for food lovers, with everything from casual beachfront spots to hidden gems and fine dining. During our stay, we explored countless restaurants—some so good we returned again and again. In this post, we’re sharing the 15 best restaurants in Phu Quoc that made our time on the island so special. They’re all worth adding to your list.
Short on time?
Comnha Vietnamese Cuisine Restaurant
Our Favorite Spot Near Khem Beach
Comnha Vietnamese Cuisine quickly became one of our go-to spots during our time on the island, and for good reason. Located just a short 5-minute walk from Khem Beach, it was the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal after a day by the sea.
Consistently Great Food
The food was consistently amazing, and we found ourselves returning for both lunch and dinner, trying nearly everything on the menu without ever being disappointed.
Always Something New to Try
What made the experience even better was how the menu evolved over time, with new, mouthwatering dishes added regularly. Whether you’re a fan of classic Vietnamese flavors or eager to try something new, Comnha has something special for everyone.
A Must-Visit on Phu Quoc
The combination of great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and a convenient location near the beach makes it a must-visit on your island adventure.
Cool, Comfortable, and Quick Service
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach. With both air conditioning and fans, you’ll stay cool and comfortable while you enjoy your meal. The service is impressively quick, so you won’t have to wait long to dig into their delicious dishes.
Indoor Comfort or Outdoor Vibes?
The atmosphere outside is pleasant and tropical, offering a laid-back vibe that perfectly complements the island setting. Whether you choose to sit indoors or outdoors really depends on your preference. For us, dinner under the stars is always a treat, so we love dining outside in the evening. During the day, though, we prefer the cooler comfort of the indoor seating to escape the midday heat.
Delicious Fish Dishes for Every Taste
The fish here is prepared exceptionally well, offering a variety of options to suit your taste. You can choose grilled fish, fish in tomato sauce, or fried fish—and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Each dish is served with a fresh salad and fragrant herbs, making for a perfectly balanced and flavorful meal. Whether you’re craving something light or indulgent, the fish here is always a fantastic choice!
Must-Try Lunch: Cac Mon Com Phan with Pork Ribs
One of our favorite meals at the restaurant is “Cac Mon Com Phan,” which quickly became our go-to lunch dish, often paired with crispy spring rolls. This simple yet delicious meal is an absolute treat, and it costs just 89,000 VND. The star of the dish is the pork ribs, served with an incredible sauce that’s so good we always ask for extra. Cooked in a traditional clay dish, the meat is tender and melts in your mouth, delivering a burst of flavor with every bite.
Don’t Skip the Spring Rolls
Let me tell you about the spring rolls—an absolute must-try when you visit! We had them with every meal, and at just 105,000 VND, they’re worth every penny. These rolls are perfectly crispy, and when paired with their flavorful dipping sauce, they’re so irresistible you’ll want to order them again right away. Just kidding—you’ll probably be full after one order, but trust me, these spring rolls are that good. Don’t miss out on this delicious treat!

Must-Try Seafood Dishes
If you’re a seafood lover, you won’t want to miss the clay-prepared fish, com ca basa tho tieu. This dish features yellowtail fish, cooked to perfection in a traditional clay pot, giving it a unique and incredibly flavorful taste. Priced at just 89,000 VND, it’s a dish that will leave you craving more.
The local sauce used to prepare this dish is a specialty made right here on the island, and I’ll share more about that in a future post. What makes this dish truly special is how the yellowtail’s bones practically melt away during the cooking process, resulting in tender, mouthwatering fish. Not only is it delicious, but it’s also packed with Vitamin D, making it a nourishing treat that’s as healthy as it is tasty.
Lua Yao Xao Sa Ot is another fantastic dish, especially if you’re a seafood lover—particularly a fan of clams! The preparation of this dish is incredible, with the clams stir-fried to perfection with lemongrass and chili, giving it a deliciously aromatic and bold flavor. The combination of the fresh seafood taste and the lemongrass makes each bite incredibly satisfying.
Served with a side of rice and the soup of the day, this dish is a true treat for the senses. If you’re looking for a flavorful seafood experience, Lua Yao Xao Sa Ot will not disappoint!
Try the Lemongrass Duck
Another dish we tried is uc vit tao sa ot—a flavorful duck dish cooked with chili and lemongrass. It’s served with a side of rice and the soup of the day, making it a complete and satisfying meal. The duck is incredibly tender, and the mix of lemongrass and chili brings out the rich, natural flavor of the meat.
The sauce is a highlight, adding a savory depth that complements every bite. If you love bold and aromatic dishes, this one is a must-try. At just 170,000 VND, it’s a memorable culinary experience!
Don’t Miss the Daily Soups
We truly enjoyed the soups of the day at this restaurant! One standout was the cucumber soup—it was our first time trying it, and it turned out to be incredibly refreshing, especially after a hot day at the beach. We also loved the onion lemongrass soup, which had a unique and aromatic flavor we hadn’t experienced before.
From cabbage soup to other interesting options, each one has been a delightful surprise. If you’re open to trying something new, these soups are a must!
Refreshing Smoothies with a Coconut Twist
We also tried a few smoothies here, and they were delicious! Unlike the ones we’ve had in Thailand, these are made with coconut milk, which gives them a unique twist. We ordered the mango and passion fruit flavors—both were excellent.
The creamy coconut milk and fresh fruit made each sip refreshing and full of flavor. Definitely worth trying if you visit!
Banh Xeo Phu Quoc Restaurant
Banh Xeo Phu Quoc was the first restaurant we visited when we arrived on the island. Eager to try authentic Vietnamese food, we were excited when the hotel recommended this spot to kickstart our culinary adventure. Located centrally, it’s just a short walk from King Kong Mart, one of the most popular places on the island.
A Warm Welcome and Lively Vibe
When we arrived, the restaurant was packed, so we waited for a table. The interior was simple—almost like a school cafeteria—but the vibe was lively and inviting. The place buzzed with young people laughing and chatting.
Photos from all over Vietnam covered the walls, inspiring us to explore even more of the country. From the moment we stepped in, the energy and friendliness made it a memorable experience.
A Small Menu That Sells Out Fast
This family-run gem has a small but flavorful menu with just 10 dishes. When we arrived, three were already sold out—which tells you how popular this spot is!
To enjoy the full menu and avoid the lunch rush, we recommend getting there between 11:00 and 11:30 AM.
Don’t Miss the Bánh Xèo
We had to try the Bánh Xèo—the most popular dish on the menu and a top recommendation from our server. It’s a fun and interactive dish with a unique way of eating.
It arrives looking like an omelette, filled with seafood and bean sprouts, alongside rice paper and scissors. You cut the omelette, add fresh herbs, wrap it in the rice paper, and dip it in a flavorful sauce.
The mix of textures and flavors was absolutely mouthwatering. We couldn’t get enough!
Bánh Xèo – Vietnamese savory pancakes filled with shrimp, pork, and bean sprouts.
Try the Flavorful Cơm Tấm
Even though we were full from the Bánh Xèo, we couldn’t resist the Cơm Tấm—especially after hearing about the beef. It was totally worth it! The meat was tender, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor.
Don’t Miss the Mì Xào Hải Sản
The third dish we tried was Mì Xào Hải Sản. Even though we were already full, we had to give it a try—and we’re glad we did! The noodles were freshly made and had a unique flavor that paired perfectly with the seafood. It was so delicious, we almost forgot how full we were.
After that feast, we joked about needing a food break. But of course, we were already thinking about what to eat next. Can you guess? Yep—Bánh Mì! Keep reading for the best one on the island.
Sunny – Bánh Mì
Our First Bánh Mì Experience in Vietnam
Sunny Restaurant was where we had our very first Bánh Mì in Vietnam. Before diving in, we did our homework—asking locals and reading reviews to find the best spot for a proper first bite. We had seen Bánh Mì all over the streets of Phu Quoc, but we waited because we wanted our first one to be special.
We had already heard a lot about Bánh Mì back when we lived in California, so our expectations were high. After trying this amazing version at Sunny, we were hooked. From there, we continued our Bánh Mì journey in Da Nang, Hanoi, and Hội An.
At the end of our trip, we’ll reveal which one was our favorite—stay tuned!
Bánh Mì – Vietnamese sandwiches with a crispy baguette filled with various meats, vegetables, and condiments.
Beautiful Canal-Side Dining at Sunny
Sunny is located in Grand World Phu Quoc and has the most beautiful front-row seating by the canal. Watching gondolas float by while enjoying your Bánh Mì is such a unique experience. It’s a fun twist—gondolas usually remind people of Italy and pizza, but here you are in Vietnam, savoring Bánh Mì with a stunning view. The peaceful setting makes this meal even more special.
We were so excited to finally try Bánh Mì in Vietnam, and it didn’t disappoint. The sandwich was loaded with tender beef, mushrooms, and fresh herbs. Every bite was full of flavor—an unforgettable first taste of this iconic Vietnamese dish.
To give it a more Western twist, we also added some French fries and, of course, mango and watermelon smoothies. It was the perfect combo for a delicious meal!
We really enjoyed the Bánh Mì here, and after trying it in so many other places, it’s hard to pick the best one because they all had their unique flavors. We loved them all! When we leave Vietnam, we’ll definitely miss Bánh Mì the most—it’s become one of our favorite must-try foods of this Vietnam visit!
Bun Quay Dac San
Bún Quậy Đặc Sản is a family-owned restaurant we visited during our Grand World walk, and it was the perfect spot with a great location. The entrance was beautifully decorated with sunflowers, and if you’re a regular reader, you know how much we love sunflowers! The owners greeted us warmly and handed us a big menu to choose from, making us feel right at home.
Lunch With a View of the Grand
The location was so perfect that we could watch the daily Grand World shows while enjoying our lunch. It was incredibly entertaining, and the experience was enhanced by the Vietnamese music coming from the show, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
So Many Dishes, So Little Time
The menu was huge, with such a wide selection that it made choosing what to have for lunch a bit challenging. Since we had plans for dinner later on, we didn’t want to eat too much, so we had to be mindful of our choices.
We went with the traditional Bánh Xèo, and by now, we were pros at how to eat it, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We also tried the pineapple rice with seafood, and it was absolutely delicious. If you ever find yourself in Grand World and craving pineapple rice, this is the perfect place for it.
San Ho Do
San Ho Do is another great spot we visited for lunch in the Dương Đông area. It’s a fantastic seafood restaurant where you pick your meal directly from the aquarium, and they cook it for you right on the spot. It’s a unique and fun dining experience, especially if you’re a seafood lover!
Peaceful Lunch in a Beautiful Setting
The place is spacious and very welcoming, with a great atmosphere and excellent service. The Vietnamese music added an extra layer of charm to our lunch. Since we went for an early lunch, we were the only ones there, which made the experience even more special—we had the whole restaurant to ourselves! It was the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal.
Fresh Catch and Flavorful Dishes
We had the catch of the day, Cà Hồng Nướng Bơ Tỏi (grilled snapper with garlic butter), which cost 139,000 VND, along with a dish of vegetables with beef and rice, Bò Lắc Lắc, which was priced at 149,000 VND. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the restaurant gave us the option to choose which fish we wanted, making it even more special. We really enjoyed our lunch and the entire experience.
Banh Mi Kebab
Bánh Mì Kebab is another Bánh Mì spot we tried on the island, and it quickly became our favorite go-to place when we wanted something quick, delicious, and with no wait. This place is amazing, offering both Bánh Mì kebabs and Vietnamese rolls. It’s located in the Sunset Town Village, making it the perfect stop when you’re in the area. The combination of flavors and convenience makes it an ideal choice for a satisfying meal on the go!
Best Time to Visit
Some days there’s no line, while other times there’s a long wait. The best time to go is around 5 PM when the restaurant opens. Most places in Sunset Town Village start serving then, so you can beat the crowd and enjoy a fresh, tasty meal without waiting!
Don’t Miss the Kebab!
The kebab here is a must-try—crispy, flavorful, and topped with delicious sauces. It’s the perfect snack, and at just 35,000 VND, it’s a great deal for something so tasty!
A Perfect Pairing with the Kebab
We also paired it with a Vietnamese roll, which we absolutely love. It costs 12,000 VND and is filled with shrimp, lettuce, and noodles—so delicious and the perfect complement to the kebab!
We always had Mama Cat dining with us. She loves kebab too, but she’s so polite — she never begs or bothers anyone. If you offer her something, she’ll appreciate it, but she never meows or asks. She’s such a sweetheart!
Com Bac Restaurant
Com Bac restaurant is located inside the Chợ Đêm Phú Quốc night market, offering a beautiful riverside setting with stunning views while dining. If you’re visiting the night market and want to try something different from the street food, this is a great place to stop by. The atmosphere is relaxed and perfect for enjoying a delicious meal while soaking in the sights of the river.
Peaceful River Views at Com Bac
As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted with beautiful river views that create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Watching the fishing boats pass by with their fresh catch adds to the charm. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful meal.
The seating at the restaurant was lovely, and it was especially peaceful since there weren’t many people around. The staff were friendly and well-prepared—they were the only ones we saw using small iPads with Google Translate to talk with us. It was a thoughtful touch that made communication easy and the whole experience smooth and enjoyable.
A Comforting Taste of Vietnamese Grandma’s Soup
We visited for a late lunch and were craving a Vietnamese soup, but not pho. So we asked what other soups they had, and the server recommended a rice seafood soup, which they called “grandma’s soup,” a traditional dish from old times. We were so curious to try it, and it didn’t disappoint. It was absolutely delicious and reminded me of the soups our grandmas used to make us when we were kids. It’s a popular dish in Europe, but instead of seafood, they usually use chicken. The warm, comforting flavors made it feel like a nostalgic home-cooked meal!
Worth the Price for the Experience
We also ordered garlic bread to go with the soup, along with papaya salad, some pork belly, and seafood rice. It was a fantastic meal. We did notice that the prices here, close to the river, were a bit higher than anywhere else we’d eaten on the island. However, it’s a popular spot, especially for tourists visiting the night market. If you want to try the Vietnamese “grandma” seafood soup, this is definitely the perfect spot to do it! The beautiful views, delicious food, and relaxed atmosphere make it worth the visit.
Pepper’s Western & Grill
Craving Pizza in Phu Quoc?
When you’re in Phu Quoc and craving Western food or pizza, Pepper’s Western & Grill is a great choice. This family-owned restaurant is conveniently located near King Kong Mart. We decided to give it a try and check it out. While there aren’t many pizza restaurants on the island—or at least we didn’t come across many—this spot stood out as a solid option for satisfying those Western food cravings.
They had a wide selection of pizzas with many different types to choose from. We decided to try two different ones and compare the flavors. The menu was written in four languages, which was quite impressive—definitely not something we had come across often on the island!
The setting inside was very homey, and it reminded us of a diner we once visited on Koh Yao Yai Island. The owners were incredibly welcoming, and the service was quick and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable.
We ordered the seafood pizza with olives, which cost 235,000 VND. It was a delightful, cheesy pizza with a perfectly crunchy crust. We also tried the chicken pepper pizza for 195,000 VND. Both pizzas were delicious, with a crispy and flavorful dough that really hit the spot.
Meet n’ Eat
Meet n’ Eat is located in Sunset Town and is a fantastic spot for lunch when you’re in the area. They offer a diverse menu, including burgers, soups, and Vietnamese cuisine. The restaurant features both indoor and outdoor seating. If you choose to sit outside, you can enjoy the lovely view of the fountains, adding a pleasant ambiance to your meal.
If you’re wondering about the name – Meet n’ Eat is where locals and travelers alike come together to enjoy delicious food and great company. It’s the kind of place where you can sit down with strangers, swap travel tips, and make new friends from all over the world. Whether you’re a solo traveler or with a group, the vibe here is warm and welcoming.
A Taste of Home with a Twist
We decided to try something different and went for the Canh Cai Tom Thit soup at Meet n’ Eat. This flavorful dish was a comforting mix of sweet cabbage, ginger, minced pork, and noodles—offering a perfect balance of flavors. We also indulged in one of their burgers. Let’s be honest, after spending so much time traveling through Asia, sometimes you just crave a tasty burger. While it wasn’t quite like the In-N-Out we miss from California, it was definitely a satisfying and delicious choice.
The interesting part was that the taste reminded us a lot of the burgers we had on Koh Yao Noi, but here, the buns were homemade and crispier. It brought back some great memories from the island! To read more about our culinary adventure on Koh Yao Noi, check out our post 10 Restaurants in Koh Yao Noi You’ll Love – you won’t want to miss it!
Classic Pho and Mango Juice Delight
We also tried the pho soup, which was recommended by the server, and it was really good. The noodles had a nice creamy texture, and we could taste the different herbs in the soup—such a flavorful experience! We paired it with refreshing mango juice, which was the perfect drink to complement the meal.
Korean Delights
Korean Delights is a charming little local restaurant in Sunset Town Village, offering outdoor seating with a refreshing ocean breeze. We visited when we were craving a good bowl of soup, and they didn’t disappoint. We tried two different soups here, and we liked them both.
Must-Try Korean Tom Yum Soups
They specialize in two unique soups, and we loved both: the Bun Han Quoc Tom Yum Soup and the Mi Han Quoc Tom Yum Soup. Each bowl was full of bold, rich flavors and topped with a squeeze of fresh lime—absolutely delicious! At just 45,000 VND per bowl, it’s an affordable and satisfying meal.
Try Korean-Style Sushi in Phu Quoc
We were recommended to try Korean sushi, which isn’t quite like the Japanese kind—it’s called cơm cuộn vừa. It had a unique flavor but still reminded us of sushi. When we first ordered it, we called it sushi, but the server kindly corrected us and explained its real name. We also tried cơm con Han Quoc and really enjoyed it. If you’re in the mood for something different, these Korean-inspired dishes are a fun and tasty option!
Healthy Eating with Vietnamese Soups
Eating soups in Vietnam helped us feel healthier and more energized during our trip. These nourishing meals quickly became a staple in our diet. We even noticed that the plates had “Live Happy” written on them—how cute is that? Let us know in the comments which Vietnamese soups you love or want to try!
Nha Vang Restaurant
Nha Vang Restaurant is located in the Duong Dong area, just a stone’s throw from King Kong Mart, and it’s a must-visit in our opinion. The restaurant serves traditional Vietnamese cuisine and has such a charming, cozy atmosphere that makes it a delightful spot to enjoy a meal.
Charming Indoor Dining at Nha Vang
Nha Vang Restaurant offers only indoor seating, but the cozy decor—with photos from across Vietnam and colorful lanterns—makes it a lovely spot. The menu is simple and helpful, featuring meal sets with drawings instead of photos. We chose one of the sets, not knowing if it would be enough for two—but it was! The generous portions and variety of Vietnamese flavors made it a great choice.
Must-Try Vietnamese Dishes in One Set
The set we tried included Bánh Mì, Vietnamese spring rolls, and the famous Bánh Xèo. When you’re on the island, be sure to try both Bánh Xèo and Bánh Mì—two must-try dishes in Vietnam. The crispy, savory Bánh Xèo paired with the fresh and flavorful Bánh Mì captures the heart of Vietnamese street food. It’s a delicious experience you won’t want to miss.
Spring Rolls or Vietnamese Rolls—What’s Your Pick?
We love both the spring rolls and the Vietnamese rolls, and the best part is—we each have our own favorite! Dan enjoys the spring rolls, while Lina prefers the Vietnamese rolls. It’s always a win when we’re served both, so we get to enjoy the best of both worlds. Which one do you like more, and why? Comment below and let us know your favorite!
Delicious Bánh Xèo with a Unique Twist
The bánh xèo here was very well prepared. We’ve tried it at many restaurants before, but we really liked the texture and the seafood selection at this spot. Each bánh xèo seems to come with a different mix of seafood goodies, which makes it even more exciting. The bánh mì was also delicious, and the sauces served with it made it even better.
Zig Zag Restaurant
Zig Zag Restaurant is a fantastic spot with indoor and outdoor seating by the sea. We visited during the day and came back in the evening for sunset—the views were breathtaking. Watching the sky change colors, hearing the waves, and later enjoying fireworks and lively shows made it an unforgettable experience. It’s the perfect way to end a day on the island.
Sunset Dining with a View
If you’re planning a sunset dinner at Zig Zag Restaurant, arrive a bit early. It gets busy fast, and front-row tables are the first to go. If you come later, the view won’t matter as much since it’s already dark—but you’ll still enjoy a great seat for the fireworks.
Skip the Soup, Try the Bánh Xèo
Zig Zag’s menu has plenty to choose from, but we didn’t love the soups—both had beef blood, which isn’t our thing. If you’re into that, though, many diners seemed to enjoy them, and they’re said to be healthy. We went with bánh xèo and spring rolls instead. The bánh xèo quickly became our favorite, especially with fresh herbs on the side.
Crispy, Flavorful, and Unforgettable
Instead, we opted for bánh xèo and spring rolls. The bánh xèo quickly became our favorite dish on the island, especially when paired with plenty of fresh herbs. What made it stand out was how wonderfully crispy it was—so different from the other versions we’d tried elsewhere. This one was a true delight!
Be Cautious With Local Soups
One of the soups we tried featured pig feet, while the other included beef intestines. Somehow, we didn’t quite understand the menu, and when we asked the server for clarification, Google Translate didn’t do a great job either. The soups were salty and creamy but not to our taste—perhaps because we already knew what was inside.
If you’re not a fan of beef blood or animal intestines, it’s good to keep this in mind when ordering. However, if you enjoy those flavors, these soups might be right up your alley!
Phuong Hoang Restaurant
A Top Seafood Spot Near Duong Dong Night Market
Phuong Hoang Seafood Restaurant is a popular spot in Duong Dong, known for its fresh and delicious seafood. Located just about 2.5 kilometers (1.5 miles) from the lively night market, it’s easy to get to for both locals and tourists. Surrounded by other great restaurants, it’s the perfect place for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable seafood meal in a vibrant atmosphere. The restaurant is open every day from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to experience all it has to offer.
Cozy Ambiance and Great Variety
The restaurant features a cozy, open-air seating area with traditional decorations that transport you to an old Vietnamese village. The warm, welcoming atmosphere adds to the charm. Friendly and attentive servers made the service quick and easy. The menu offers a wide variety, from international favorites to authentic Vietnamese dishes—there’s something for everyone.
Fresh Seafood and Flavorful Dishes
We tried the catch of the day and seafood rice—both were incredibly well cooked! The seafood rice had a perfect blend of flavors, with crab meat and clams in every bite. Highly recommended! We also ordered eggplants from the Russian section of the menu, which were absolutely delicious. To complete the meal, we enjoyed fresh and crispy calamari.
Kungfu Noodle Restaurant
A Noodle Lover’s Favorite in Sunset Town
Kungfu Noodle Restaurant is one of our favorite spots on the island. Located in Sunset Town, Phu Quoc, it’s known for its hearty, freshly made noodle dishes. The noodles are prepared right in the restaurant, making every bowl delicious and satisfying. With indoor and outdoor seating, we love the cozy vibe and scenic views. Inspired by the spirit of Kungfu, the place adds a fun twist to the menu and atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy flavorful noodles while embracing the island mood.
Passion in Every Bowl
Inside the kitchen, the atmosphere is fun and full of energy. You can watch the team prepare noodles with care and skill, showing true passion for their craft. The staff takes pride in making sure every bowl is just right. They’re also incredibly friendly, always welcoming guests with warm smiles. It’s this mix of dedication and great service that makes Kungfu Noodle Restaurant stand out.
Handmade Noodles, Fresh and Fascinating
We really enjoyed watching the noodle-making process at Kungfu Noodle Restaurant. From a single piece of dough, they craft fresh noodles right before your eyes. Seeing them pull and shape the dough by hand adds a special touch to the meal. The skill and care that go into each noodle make the soup taste even better. There’s something extra satisfying about eating noodles made fresh just for you.
The outdoor seating at Kungfu Noodle Restaurant is a lovely place to enjoy your meal. As you dine, you’ll hear the soft sound of waves and feel a gentle breeze that adds to the relaxing vibe. When the sun sets, the view becomes even more magical. At night, you can even catch fireworks from the nearby village, making the moment feel extra special. It’s a perfect mix of great food and a beautiful setting.
The Best Pho and Soup in Phu Quoc
Kungfu Noodle Restaurant serves up the perfect bowl of noodles—just as tasty as they look! Prices are affordable, with soups ranging from 45,000 to 70,000 VND, or you can get a combo for 115,000 VND. If you’re craving the best pho and most flavorful soup on the island, this is the spot. Enjoy the sea breeze, sunset views, and fireworks while indulging in a meal you won’t forget.
Pho Nuong Restaurant
Pho Nuong is a popular spot in Phu Quoc, known for its perfectly grilled seafood and authentic Vietnamese dishes. Located near Sunset Town, it’s a must-visit for both locals and travelers. The menu offers fresh seafood like grilled fish, shrimp, clams, and squid, along with Vietnamese favorites like bánh xèo, spring rolls, and noodle soups. Whether you’re craving seaside flavors or classic comfort food, Pho Nuong delivers a true taste of Vietnam.
Fresh Seafood BBQ at Pho Nuong
One of the best parts of dining at Pho Nuong is the live BBQ experience—everything is grilled right at your table. The seafood is super fresh, making it even more fun to watch and eat. We tried a mix of seafood, beef, and pork, and every bite was packed with flavor.
Flavor-Packed Dishes You Can’t Miss
We ordered eel and fish served with turmeric on the side—absolutely delicious. The turmeric sauce was so flavorful, we even mixed it into our steamed rice. We also tried the clams with cheese, and they were incredibly tasty—a real treat for any seafood lover.
Scissors at the Table? A Handy Vietnamese Tradition
Cutting into the large seafood platter felt like an art form! In Vietnam, many restaurants provide scissors to cut meat, fish, or seafood—it’s super practical and easy. Unlike in the U.S., where you mostly see scissors at BBQ joints, here it’s a common and helpful part of the dining experience.
Why We Loved the Seafood Platter (and More!)
We ordered a large seafood platter for 450,000 VND, and it was so filling we didn’t need anything else—but we still couldn’t resist trying more! When we visit restaurants, we like to sample as much as we can to see what stands out. We only feature places we truly enjoy, so if you’re seeing a lot of praise, it’s because the food honestly impressed us.
