As we wandered through the lively streets of Tainan, a quirky vending machine caught our eye—it looked like it belonged in a cartoon! Its bright white exterior was covered in colorful stickers, and a big sign announced “Mystery Boxes!” We were instantly curious and couldn’t resist finding out what was inside.
This wasn’t your average vending machine. Back in the U.S., we were used to machines filled with snacks and drinks, but this one promised something more exciting. For just 100 NT (around 3 USD), we decided to go for it. We put in our money, chose a box number, and waited eagerly as the machine whirred and clanked, finally handing us a small pink box.
We got a cute pink box, but unfortunately, we couldn’t read what it says on it. Please comment below and let us know if you know what it says! We were curious about what could be inside. The machine had a sticker saying you might find a diamond ring, cosmetics, books, treats, or just a simple pen. Holding the box, not knowing what’s inside, felt like Christmas as we eagerly unwrapped our present! We were so excited to open it and discover what was inside—the only thing we didn’t want it to be was a book we wouldn’t be able to read! Hahaha!
We opened the box, and to our surprise, it contained a luxurious L’OCCITANE Shea Butter Hand Cream! The scent was heavenly, transporting us to a peaceful garden on a sunny day. We couldn’t help but smile at each other, sharing excited looks over our cute find. The hand cream nourishes very dry hands, protects the skin, and contains 20% organic shea butter, making it vegan-friendly. It’s an incredible product that costs about $30 in the U.S., so it came in handy during our travels. I absolutely love this brand and their products!
