When we were planning our stay on Phi Phi Island, Thailand, we knew we wanted more than a typical resort. The island has many beautiful places to stay, but we were looking for something that felt like an adventure.
We wanted a place with incredible sunset views over the limestone cliffs and the raw beauty of the surrounding jungle. Being close to the beach was important to us, so we could fully enjoy island life.
At the same time, we wanted easy access to hikes and viewpoints that would let us explore Phi Phi’s natural side. Having simple access to everything the island offers was also a must for our stay.
Located Between Two Stunning Beaches
Phi Phi The Beach Resort is located in the quiet southern part of the island, between Long Beach and Loh Moo Dee Beach. From the moment we arrived, it felt like we had found a hidden paradise.
Close to Three Incredible Viewpoints
The resort’s location also gave us easy access to three amazing viewpoints, all reachable by short hikes. Surrounded by lush greenery, it truly felt like a hidden escape. The only sounds we heard were the waves, rustling trees, and the calls of monkeys and birds. Every walk felt like a small adventure, with nature all around us.
Breathtaking Views and Diving Certification
The resort staff were incredibly friendly and took the time to show us around the property. The beach itself was stunning, and for anyone wanting to explore underwater, the resort also offers diving classes and certification.
Our bungalow was located high on the hill, so we took a buggy ride up. Along the way, a playful cat followed us all the way to our room, which added a charming and memorable touch to our arrival.

A Bungalow in Nature and Wildlife
We booked a Superior Bungalow with a partial sea view, and it truly felt like paradise. The bungalow had a small private porch that gave us plenty of privacy and a strong connection to nature.
Surrounded by greenery, we constantly heard birds singing and monkeys moving through the trees nearby. The staff even warned us to lock the bungalow properly, as the monkeys know how to get inside, which gave us a good laugh.
Each morning, we enjoyed tea on the porch while taking in the calm atmosphere and beautiful surroundings. It was a peaceful and relaxing way to start every day on the island.

Clean, Comfortable, and Surrounded by Nature
Our bungalow was clean and welcoming, with a fresh jungle scent in the air. The bed was soft and comfortable, making it easy to relax after long days of exploring.
The bathroom was spacious and added to the overall comfort of the room. We also appreciated the two cozy robes and the small details that made the stay feel warm and inviting.
Beautiful Beach and Easy Snorkeling
The resort’s beachfront was beautiful, with clear turquoise water that sparkled in the sun. On the left side of the beach, rocky areas made snorkeling easy and enjoyable. The resort also provides sunbeds and umbrellas, giving plenty of space to relax by the water.
We often moved between the resort beach and nearby Loh Moo Dee Beach. When the resort beach felt a bit busy, Loh Moo Dee was quiet and peaceful, almost like a private beach. The water there was warm and calm, making it the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the scenery.

Dining at the Resort and Thai Flavors
We ate at the resort’s restaurant and enjoyed every meal. During our stay, we made it a point to try as many dishes as possible and fully experience the flavors of Thailand.
One of the highlights was a large boat set up on the beach, serving fresh seafood and the catch of the day, grilled right in front of us. We chose our sides, picked our fish, and enjoyed a relaxed dinner in a beautiful beach setting.
Evening Walks on the Beach with Stunning Sunsets
Every evening after dinner, we took a slow walk along the beach to watch the sunset. Each one somehow felt more beautiful than the last. Thailand truly offers incredible sunsets, and as sunset lovers, this quickly became one of our favorite daily rituals.
