Gardens by the Bay
Gardens by the Bay is a beautiful green escape in the heart of Singapore, right next to the Marina Bay waterfront. During the day, it feels calm and refreshing, making it perfect for a relaxed walk among plants and flowers. As the sun goes down, however, the atmosphere slowly begins to change.
In the evening, the Supertrees light up with music and colors during a 15-minute light and sound show. At that point, it is easy to lose track of time. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we stayed to watch the show more than once. Because of the mix of lights, music, and the open-air setting, the experience feels truly special.
Overall, whether you are visiting as a couple, exploring on your own, or simply looking for a memorable moment, Gardens by the Bay is one place in Singapore you should not skip.

The Flower Dome is a calm and beautiful escape inside Gardens by the Bay. Since Lina loves flowers, visiting this spot was a must for us. As soon as we stepped inside, it felt like entering another world.
The space is filled with colorful blooms, unique plants, and gentle scents from all around the globe. Walking through the dome, you naturally slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy how peaceful it feels. It is one of those places where you want to take your time and simply enjoy the moment.

Inside the Flower Dome, the mix of colors, scents, and greenery is truly impressive. Flowers seem to stretch in every direction, and each corner feels carefully designed and full of life. It honestly feels like walking through a hidden garden where every step brings something new to see.

The Cloud Forest was the perfect final stop during our visit to Gardens by the Bay. Surrounded by tall waterfalls, dense greenery, and a fresh cool mist, it felt like stepping into a hidden world. The sound of flowing water and gently moving leaves created a calm and peaceful atmosphere.

Riding the Singapore Flyer was an unforgettable experience. As we rose above Marina Bay, we enjoyed wide, panoramic views of the city from every angle. Once the tallest Ferris wheel in the world, it truly made us feel on top of it all during the 30-minute ride. The night views were especially beautiful, with city lights sparkling below. It is a moment we will always remember, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Singapore.
Singapore Flyer Sky Dining Experience
The Singapore Flyer also offers a private Sky Dining experience that feels truly special. Floating above the city at night, the views and glowing lights create a romantic setting. Private capsules are available, but even without booking one, we somehow ended up in a private capsule and it was amazing. Soft music and peaceful surroundings made the experience feel intimate and unforgettable, perfect for a special night in Singapore.
Singapore River Cruise on a Bumboat
Cruising the river on a traditional bumboat is a great way to see Singapore from the water. The ride takes about 40 minutes and passes historic quays, bridges, and famous sights like the Merlion and Marina Bay Sands, all while you sit back and relax.
Tickets are easy to buy online or at the jetty, with prices starting from S$24.30 for adults and S$18 for children. Since boats run daily, sunset and evening cruises are especially popular when the skyline lights begin to glow. Overall, it is a calm and scenic way to experience Singapore from a different angle.
