One of our favorite plant-based spots in Bali has to be The Kynd Community. From the moment you walk in, the bright colors and warm vibe make you feel right at home, setting the perfect mood for a relaxed and inspiring meal.
It’s more than just a café — it’s a creative space filled with good energy, artful food, and a cozy yet lively atmosphere. Every dish is made with care, turning healthy eating into something exciting and enjoyable.
In this guide, we’ll share what makes Kynd Cafe stand out and why we think it’s one of the best place to enjoy delicious plant-based meals in Bali.
Why We Loved The Kynd Community
If you’ve followed us for a while, you might remember we ate plant-based for about four years. Even though we’ve changed our diet since then, The Kynd Community instantly reminded us why we loved it. The bright pink exterior makes the café easy to spot, and it’s the kind of place you naturally want to walk into.
Inside, the food looks amazing. It’s known as an Instagram favorite because every dish is prepared with so much detail. Even if you don’t usually take photos of your meals, this café will make you want to. From smoothie bowls to fresh juices, everything looks clean, colorful, and carefully made.
The Kynd Community shows how fun and accessible healthy food can be, and it’s a place we think every traveler should visit when exploring Bali.
Fun Fact
The Kynd Community became famous for its colorful food and positive vibes long before plant-based cafés were trendy in Bali. It’s one of the most photographed cafés on the island.
Location
You’ll find it in Seminyak on Jalan Petitenget No. 12, with another location in Canggu. The Seminyak café is open daily from 7:30 AM to 10:00 PM, making it perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Our Serene First Visit to The Kynd Community
Our first visit to The Kynd Community was early in the morning, right after we watched a beautiful sunrise. The café was quiet, with only a few early risers around. Instead of hearing people talk, we listened to birds and the soft sound of leaves moving in the breeze. The open-air layout and the tall palm tree in the middle gave it a true Bali atmosphere.
We had this café on our bucket list, so we were excited to finally see it. We started with one of their well-known fruit smoothies, and it was even better than expected. The blend was smooth, fresh, and topped with fruit and nuts for a nice crunch. Their breakfast menu is full of great options, so be ready to take your time choosing because everything looked really good.

A Sunflower Welcome and Sweet Treats
As soon as we walked into The Kynd Community, the decor immediately caught our attention. At the entrance, there was a large sunflower with a swing, which felt extra special because sunflowers have a personal meaning in our travels. You can read more about that in our Why We Travel post. It was the perfect place to take a few photos and enjoy the atmosphere before sitting down with our smoothie bowl.
A Special Visit to a Meaningful Café
We visited The Kynd Community because it was on our daughter Christine’s bucket list. Being there in her honor meant a lot to us, and we truly enjoyed the experience. Inside, we found a wall filled with letter magnets where guests could leave small messages. We wrote “Christine is our hero!” because she continues to inspire everything we do. It felt right to share a piece of her spirit in such a special place.
Finding Inspiration at The Kynd Community
We also came across an inspirational wall inside the café that really resonated with us. We’d love to share some of the quotes with you:
“Damn, life is good. How lucky we are to be here, right here in Bali.”
“Remember that every situation presented to you is a lesson. Take it. Never ever stop learning. Fail, but do it quickly & learn from it.”
“Trust people until they give you a reason not to. You don’t need a lot of friends, just quality friends.”
“Know that some people will change your life forever. Find them.”
“Karma is real. Give more. Way more. Giving is the purest form of happiness.”
“Understand the power of thought. Thought is creation.”
These quotes offered such a beautiful reminder to stay grateful, kind, and open to learning. They seemed like the perfect messages to reflect on during our visit to such a special place.
