Rihanna’s childhood home is on Westbury New Road, Bridgetown, Saint Michael BB11154, Barbados. The street is now called Rihanna Drive in her honor. The house sits close to the Rihanna Drive monument and just up the street from a small community shop.

During our visit, we explored Rihanna’s childhood neighborhood and met some of her old neighbors. They shared stories about Robyn Rihanna Fenty as a little girl and how special she was even then.
We also saw childhood photos of Rihanna, which gave us a personal glimpse into her early life. Running down the same streets where she once played made the experience feel even more real.
The neighborhood itself had cozy wooden houses and a welcoming atmosphere. The locals were warm and friendly, making our hour there unforgettable. Their stories and kindness gave us a deeper connection to Rihanna’s past and the community that shaped her.

We had the pleasure of meeting Dahima, Rihanna’s neighbor, who shared stories of young Rihanna singing for the entire neighborhood. Her favorite song to perform was Mariah Carey’s Hero, and even then she dreamed of performing for big crowds. Spending time with Dahima made the visit unforgettable.
Even as a little girl, Rihanna believed in her talent and dreamed of being a superstar. One of her quotes, “Don’t hide from who you are,” reflects her strong belief in embracing your true self. It’s a reminder to follow your own dreams and let your gifts shine.
Christine’s motto was “It’s Only Temporary.” She even turned it into a song, encouraging others to live fully, love deeply, and leave behind a meaningful legacy—just as she did.
