Our room had a beautiful river view, was clean and spacious, and came with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel was the perfect base for exploring Kaohsiung’s cultural attractions and local dining, allowing us to fully enjoy the city’s vibrant atmosphere.

If you love art or want to explore something new, head to the Pier 2 Warehouses in Kaohsiung. They sit right beside the lively Pier 2 Art Center.
The area is covered with colorful murals and creative wall art. It’s one of the best spots in Kaohsiung for Instagram photos.
As you walk around, you’ll see both locals and travelers enjoying the artwork. The vibe is lively, filled with energy and creativity.

Lotus Pond in Kaohsiung: A Peaceful Spot to Explore
Lotus Pond is a beautiful artificial lake in Kaohsiung. A walking path circles the water, offering peaceful views and plenty of spots to relax.
It’s a great place for a picnic or a calm day outdoors. Since it’s right next to the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas, you can explore both attractions on the same visit.
The Spring and Autumn Pavilion
The Taoist temple complex at Lotus Lake is a peaceful place to explore. The pavilions show off stunning architecture and deep spiritual meaning.
They are a cultural highlight in Kaohsiung and a must-see for anyone interested in history and local heritage.
The Dome of Light in Kaohsiung
The Dome of Light at Formosa Boulevard Station is one of Kaohsiung’s most Instagram-worthy attractions. Measuring 30 meters in diameter and made from about 4,500 glass pieces, it’s the largest glass artwork in the world.
Created by Italian artist Narcissus Quagliata, the dome took more than four years to complete. Its vibrant lights shift continuously, drawing visitors to pause and admire the dazzling display.
Special light shows last two minutes and run at set times: Monday–Thursday at 11 AM, 3 PM, and 8 PM; Friday also at 7 PM; and weekends at 11 AM, 3 PM, 5 PM, 7 PM, and 8 PM.
The spacious area around the dome makes it a relaxing spot for travelers to enjoy art and atmosphere while exploring the city.
