Walk Among the Magic of Tirta Gangga
One of the highlights of Tirta Gangga is the large pond with stepping stones where you can walk across the water as colorful koi swim below. The pond is filled with spring water, making it clear, cool, and sacred to the Balinese Hindu community.
You can feed the koi fish and hop from stone to stone in a peaceful setting. Many visitors enjoy the calming experience, but the stones can be slippery—so walk with care. We even saw someone fall in and laugh it off, calling it a blessing from the holy water.
Surrounded by lush greenery and calm views, Tirta Gangga is a dream spot for photographers and a relaxing place to enjoy Bali’s unique mix of nature, culture, and spirituality.
A Serene Jukung Boat Ride at Tirta Gangga
After feeding the koi and exploring the palace grounds, try a ride on a Jukung — a traditional Balinese wooden boat. It costs just 20,000 IDR per person.
The ride is short but peaceful, offering a new way to enjoy the calm surroundings and watch the koi swim from the water. If you’ve never been on a Balinese boat, this is a great chance to try one and see the palace from a different point of view.
Bali’s Timeless Blend of Nature, Culture, and Beauty
Tirta Gangga is more than just a beautiful spot — it’s a symbol of Bali’s deep connection to nature. Once a royal retreat, the palace holds historical and spiritual meaning.
Whether you’re drawn by its scenic beauty, peaceful energy, or photo-worthy views, Tirta Gangga delivers an unforgettable experience. Its blend of elegant design and lush surroundings makes it a must-visit while exploring Bali.
