Entrance Fee
Approximately 15,000 IDR (≈ 1 USD) per person. A small parking fee may also apply.
The easiest way to reach Tukad Cepung Waterfall is by scooter rental, which gives you freedom to explore nearby spots. You can also hire a private driver or taxi for a more comfortable ride. From Ubud, the trip takes about one hour. From Seminyak or Kuta, expect around an hour and a half.
Once you arrive, it’s a 15–25 minute hike from the parking area to the waterfall. The trail includes steep stairs and a short walk through a shallow river inside a cave. Wear water shoes or sandals with grip, as the rocks can be slippery. Swimming isn’t allowed since the water is only a few inches deep.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is most beautiful between 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. The sunlight beams through the cave, creating a magical effect on the water—perfect for photos. Early mornings also mean fewer crowds, so you can enjoy the scene in peace.
Entrance Fee and Trail Tips
The entrance fee is 15,000 IDR per person, and parking is free. Use the graveled area for easier parking.
There are no restrooms at the entrance, but halfway down the trail, vendors sell drinks and snacks near a basic toilet.
The trail is slippery and uneven, so wear shoes with good grip. Proper footwear makes a big difference.
