Tegenungan Waterfall is open all day, but swimming is allowed only until 6:30 PM. The entrance fee is 20,000 IDR, and scooter parking is free. Car parking costs 5,000 IDR or less than $1.
You’ll find lockers on-site for 10,000 IDR, and clean toilets are available for 3,000 IDR. Once you get your ticket, walk past the colorful market stalls until you see the “Welcome to Tegenungan Waterfall” sign.
There’s a stunning view to your left as you enter, but be prepared for some crowds—it’s a popular spot for good reason.

The views from the swing are incredible. You can admire the waterfall, listen to the rushing water, and feel the thrill as you swing back and forth. Although I felt nervous at first, I couldn’t resist giving it a try.
Once I was in the air, the stunning scenery made my fears disappear. The ride lasts about 3–5 minutes and costs around 45,000 IDR (≈ 3 USD).
